As a QA Automation Trainee, you will work alongside experienced QA Engineers and Software Developers to build automated test suites and ensure high-quality software delivery.
Responsibilities:

Learn Software Testing fundamentals (Manual & Automation Testing)

Understand the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)

Learn test case design techniques and defect lifecycle

Gain hands-on experience with automation frameworks

Learn programming fundamentals using Python

Understand Object-Oriented Programming concepts

Learn API testing concepts using Postman

Learn version control using Git
-
Understand SQL basics for database validation

Work on real-world automation assignments and mini projects

Develop and maintain automated test scripts

Execute manual and automated test cases
-
Identify, document, and track software defects
-
Perform regression, functional, smoke, and sanity testing

Validate APIs and backend services
-
Collaborate with developers to resolve defects

Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, and Retrospectives

Maintain test documentation and automation reports

Continuously improve automation coverage and testing processes

Basic understanding of programming (Java, Python, or C#)

Good knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming concepts

Basic SQL knowledge

Understanding of databases

Knowledge of HTML/CSS is an advantage

Basic understanding of APIs is desirable
