Profile: HR Generalist
Experience:
3-6 years of HR generalist experience, ideally in a startup, SME, or engineering/manufacturing environment. Demonstrated experience running or administering a
performance-management / KPI-tracking system. Strong working knowledge of Indian labour law and statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, PT, etc.). Experience scaling HR in a growing company (building processes, not just running them). Roles:
A core focus of this role is
owning and driving our performance-management system: tracking KRAs, KPIs, and KRIs across the team, keeping scorecards current, and giving leadership a clear, timely view of team performance. You will operate the existing performance framework (CEO, department, and engineer scorecards), maintain the review cadence, and flag risks before they become problems. This role is expected to grow into an HR lead/manager position as the company scales.
Performance Management (KRA / KPI / KRI) — priority focus
Own the end-to-end performance-tracking cycle: collect data each period, update the CEO, department, and engineer scorecards, and keep the framework running on schedule. Track KPIs and KRAs across roles and departments; calculate scores against targets using the defined scoring method. Monitor KRIs and proactively flag Green / Amber / Red status to leadership, with early warning on emerging risks. Coordinate the review measure (monthly / quarterly / annual), including self-assessments, manager reviews, and calibration. Prepare clear performance dashboards and summaries for leadership decision-making. Support the increment, promotion, and appraisal process using scorecard outputs. Help refine and improve the performance framework, KPIs, and scorecards over time. Recruitment & Onboarding
Manage end-to-end recruitment: job postings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer roll-out. Run structured onboarding for new hires — documentation, accounts, orientation, and first-week/30-60-90-day plans. Employee Relations & Operations
Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries on policies, benefits, and workplace matters. Handle grievances and support a positive, collaborative work environment. Maintain accurate personnel records, attendance, and leave management. Manage payroll inputs and coordinate with finance for timely, accurate payroll. Compliance & Policy
Ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESI, professional tax, labour law, and related filings). Draft, implement, and maintain HR policies and the employee handbook. Support audit readiness for HR records and processes. Qualification:
Bachelor//'s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA/PGDM in HR preferred). Familiarity with ISO 13485 / regulated-industry HR documentation practices.
