Job Title: Fresher – Freight Broker

Job Summary: We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated freshers to join our Logistics team as Freight Brokers. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who want to build a career in logistics and supply chain management. In this role, you will learn how to coordinate shipments, communicate with carriers and shippers, negotiate rates, and ensure smooth transportation operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and develop relationships with shippers and carriers to understand transportation requirements.
- Match available freight loads with suitable carriers based on routes, pricing, and availability.
- Negotiate freight rates and terms while maintaining company profitability.
- Prepare and manage shipping documentation such as bills of lading and contracts.
- Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely deliveries and resolve operational issues.
- Communicate effectively with customers, carriers, and internal teams to provide excellent service.
- Stay updated with logistics market trends, competitor activities, and transportation regulations.
- Maintain accurate records using freight brokerage software and Microsoft Excel.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any field preferred. (No education persuing candidate)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and invoicing software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in night shifts.
- Quick learner with a positive attitude.
