About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Carrier Sales Executive to join our US trucking dispatch team in Ahmedabad. In this role, you will be responsible for finding and onboarding carriers/truckers across the USA and selling them our dispatching services. This is a target-driven, client-facing role ideal for someone who already understands how the US trucking and freight dispatch industry works.
This is an on-site, night-shift role aligned with US business hours — not remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, contact, and onboard owner-operators and carriers/truckers across the USA for our dispatching services
- Pitch and sell our dispatch service to prospective carriers, clearly explaining the value we bring (load booking, rate negotiation, paperwork handling, etc.)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers to ensure long-term partnerships
- Negotiate service terms/rates confidently with carriers
- Follow up consistently with leads and maintain an active pipeline of prospective carriers
- Coordinate with the internal dispatch team to ensure smooth handoff of onboarded carriers
- Maintain accurate records of carrier interactions, leads, and conversions in CRM/tracking sheets
- Stay updated on US trucking industry trends, load boards, and market rates
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in US trucking, dispatching, or carrier sales (mandatory)
- Strong working knowledge of the US trucking/freight dispatch industry — load boards (DAT, Truckstop, etc.), carrier onboarding process, MC/DOT basics, and dispatch operations
- Excellent English communication skills (spoken) — this role involves constant phone/voice interaction with US-based carriers
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a target-driven mindset
- Comfortable working night shifts (US time zones)
- Self-motivated, confident, and persuasive with a good phone presence
- Basic computer skills (Excel/Google Sheets, CRM tools, email)
