Job Description – Accounts General Manager (GM Accounts & Finance)
Location: Nellore, Andhra Pradesh

Reporting To: Managing Director / CFO
Position Summary
The Accounts General Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the entire Finance &
Accounts function of the organization, including financial planning, accounting, taxation, budgeting, MIS
reporting, statutory compliance, audits, treasury management, and internal controls. The role will
support management in strategic decision-making by providing accurate financial insights and ensuring
financial discipline across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General
Ledger, and Fixed Assets.
Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with Accounting Standards, Companies Act, GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other
statutory requirements.
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and banking operations.
Budgeting & MIS
Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
Prepare monthly MIS reports and financial dashboards for management review.
Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
Monitor departmental budgets and cost controls.
Taxation & Compliance
Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory returns.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Handle statutory, internal, tax, and financial audits.
Maintain compliance with all financial regulations and corporate policies.
Treasury & Banking
Manage banking relationships, fund planning, and working capital requirements.
Oversee loan documentation, repayments, and financial negotiations.
Monitor cash forecasting and liquidity management.
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounts & Finance team.
Establish financial controls, SOPs, and process improvements.
Drive automation and ERP-based financial management systems.
Required Qualifications
MBA Finance / M.Com.
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
At least 5 years in a senior managerial role.
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, Financial Reporting, Audits, Budgeting, and Banking.
Experience in ERP systems such as Tally Prime ,SAP.
