Position Overview: The Senior Director, Global Strategic S&OP, will lead the long‑range planning engine that shapes the company’s revenue trajectory, portfolio priorities, and strategic investment decisions across advanced displays, electrification, and digital cockpit AI platforms. This role drives a transformative, AI‑enabled S&OP process that improves forecast accuracy, strengthens pipeline predictability, and aligns global teams around a unified 3–5‑year demand strategy. This position requires strong commercial acumen, cross‑functional influence, and the ability to connect market signals, OEM roadmaps, and financial planning into actionable strategy.
Key Stakeholders: Sales leadership, Product Line leaders, Engineering (HW/SW), Finance, Strategy, Regional commercial teams, Operations & Capacity Planning, Executive Leadership (CEO/CFO), OEM planning and commercial organizations.
Key Objectives
- Build and lead the global Strategic S&OP framework, linking commercial strategy, technology roadmaps, product portfolio decisions, and long‑range financial plans.
- Develop 3-5 year demand scenarios informed by OEM cycles, NBW pipelines, competitive intelligence, and regional market shifts.
- Drive deep integration with Product Lines to influence portfolio mix, R&D prioritization, and strategic bets across cockpit domains.
- Deliver investment guidance for capacity, manufacturing footprint, and CapEx with strong demand‑backed rationale.
- Deploy AI‑driven forecasting and scenario modeling to increase accuracy, accelerate decision‑making, and surface early risks and opportunities.
Success Measures
- Growth in NBWs: Impact the win rate, value, and mix of awards by shaping demand signals, portfolio priorities, and commercial strategy
- Forecast Accuracy (18–36 months): Deliver a reliable long‑range demand signal that enables confident revenue planning, resource allocation, and executive decision‑making

- Portfolio mix improvement toward high‑value digital cockpit and display programs
- Predictability and health of the multi‑year NBW pipeline
- Adoption and governance of the long‑range S&OP process across functions and regions

Year One Deliverables
- Long‑range demand scenario package used as the enterprise source of truth for multi‑year commitments and investments.
- S&OP operating model and integration with Product Lines including clear decision rights, cadences, and handoffs connecting demand, portfolio strategy, and R&D prioritization.
- Global Strategic S&OP playbook and governance model adopted across all regions.
- Integrated long‑range demand model combining OEM roadmaps, NBW pipelines, technology inputs, and regional intelligence.
- Prioritized strategic opportunity & risk set with business cases influencing executive decisions.
Qualifications, Skills, & Experience
- 12+ years in strategic planning, S&OP, product/portfolio strategy, commercial strategy, or long‑range demand planning (automotive or technology preferred).
- Proven ability to influence senior leadership and drive cross‑functional alignment across Sales, Product Lines, Engineering, Operations, and Finance.
- Strong understanding of OEM planning cycles, digital cockpit technologies, and global automotive market dynamics.
- Experience with long‑range forecasting, scenario modeling, and planning tools (AI‑driven approaches a plus).
- Demonstrated success shaping portfolio choices, R&D prioritization, and investment decisions.
- Executive‑level communication skills and the ability to simplify complexity for decision‑makers.
