DEPOT MANAGER
The Depot Manager will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end warehouse and depot operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning, inventory accuracy, timely dispatches, and high service levels. The role requires strong leadership, operational control, compliance management, and the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, vendors, transporters, and internal teams. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in warehouse operations, team management, MIS reporting, and process improvement while strictly adhering to company SOPs and safety standards.

Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end warehouse/depot operations, ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day activities.
- Lead and supervise a team of warehouse staff, supervisors, DEOs, and support personnel.
- Ensure timely receiving, storage, inventory management, dispatch, and customer service as per agreed TAT.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and conduct regular stock verification and cycle counts.
- Ensure strict adherence to company SOPs, customer requirements, safety standards, and statutory compliance.
- Coordinate with clients, transporters, vendors, and internal departments for seamless operations.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational MIS reports using Advanced Excel.
- Manage manpower planning, productivity, attendance, and team performance.
- Ensure compliance with warehouse housekeeping, 5S, EHS, PPE, fire safety, and security protocols.
- Handle customer audits, internal audits, and ensure timely closure of observations.
- Drive cost optimization, process improvements, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Resolve customer escalations and ensure high service levels.
- Train, mentor, and develop team members while ensuring adherence to company policies and SOPs.
Requirements:
- 4–8 years of experience in Warehouse, Logistics, 3PL, FMCG, Paint, Retail, or Manufacturing operations.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and dispatch processes.
- Good leadership and team management skills with the ability to handle 20–50+ manpower.
- Proficiency in Advanced MS Excel, ERP/WMS, and MIS reporting.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse KPIs, inventory control, and operational compliance.
- Excellent communication, email drafting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to handle customer interactions, audits, and operational escalations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Willingness to travel whenever required for operational support and customer visits.
- Self-driven, disciplined, and committed to following company SOPs and achieving operational targets.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
