Eligibility
- Minimum Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering (B.Tech preferred but not mandatory)
- Experience: 2+ years in control panel design / testing / quality control
- Strong understanding of both: Electrical design & Shop floor execution realities
Core Responsibilities:
1. Design & Engineering
- Preparation of:
- Electrical schematics
- GA drawings
- Wiring diagrams
- BOM creation with proper specification and rating selection
- Identify and raise requisition for new/non-standard components
- Drawing release with revision control
2. Quality Control Ownership (CRITICAL)
A. Incoming Material QC
- Verify critical components:
- Ratings (MCB, MCCB, contactors, relays, cables)
- Make/model vs BOM
- Identify wrong/duplicate/low-quality materials before production
B. In-Process QC (Stage Inspection)
- Conduct inspections at key stages:
- After mechanical assembly (mounting, alignment)
- After wiring completion (routing, ferruling, termination)
- Ensure:
- Proper wire dressing and segregation
- Correct ferrule numbering as per drawings
- Tightness and termination quality
C. Final QC & Testing
- Perform and/or supervise:
- Continuity checks
- Short circuit checks
- Insulation resistance test (Megger)
- Functional testing (I/O verification)
- Validate panel against:
- Drawings
- BOM
- Customer requirements
D. Documentation & QC System
- Prepare and maintain:
- QC checklists
- Test reports
- Inspection records
- Ensure traceability of:
- Drawings (revision control)
- Test results
E. Non-Conformance Handling
- Identify defects and deviations
- Mark issues clearly (red-mark drawings / punch points)
- Coordinate rework with production team
- Ensure closure before dispatch
3. Coordination Responsibilities
- Act as bridge between design and production
- Clarify drawing doubts to wireman team
- Continuously improve drawings based on shop feedback
Required QC Skillset (Explicitly Mention to Candidate)
- Ability to read and verify electrical drawings practically
Hands-on knowledge of:
- Multimeter usage
- Megger (insulation tester)
Understanding of:
- Wiring standards (color code, ferruling, routing)
- Panel safety practices
- Strong observation skills for defect identification
- Basic documentation discipline (checklists, reports)

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
