We are a growing online dance and fitness academy based in New Delhi, providing live virtual classes to students across India and international time zones. Our students include kids (ages 4–10) and adult women who enjoy learning dance in a structured yet highly enjoyable online environment.
The Role
We are hiring an Online Dance Teacher / Instructor to conduct regular live classes. Depending on student batches and schedules, this role may include teaching Bollywood dance and dance-fitness formats.
As an Online Dance Teacher, you will conduct live virtual dance sessions in both group and one-on-one formats. Your responsibility is to guide students through movements clearly, help them improve coordination and confidence, and ensure every class is interactive and engaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Virtual Classes: Conduct live online dance classes tailored for kids and adult learners.
- Teach Routines: Instruct basic to intermediate dance routines with clear, easy-to-follow step breakdowns.
- Class Management: Maintain proper class structure, including dedicated warm-up and practice times.
- Engage Students: Encourage active student participation and consistent performance.
- Adaptability: Adjust your teaching pace based on student comfort and skill levels.
- Track Progress: Provide simple, constructive verbal feedback to help students improve.
- Quality Assurance: Follow internal teaching guidelines to maintain high quality and consistency across all classes.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of teaching experience (online or offline). Experience in teaching dance (Bollywood or related styles) is highly preferred.
- Camera-Ready: Fully comfortable teaching on camera and effectively managing virtual classes.
- Versatility: Proven ability and patience to work with both children and adult students.
- Communication: Basic English communication skills.
- Tech Setup (Must-Have): A reliable laptop or desktop, a stable high-speed internet connection, and a clear audio/microphone setup.
Schedule & Perks
- Employment Type: Full-time role with flexible working hours.
- Schedule: Classes may be scheduled on weekdays or weekends based on student batches.
- Workload: Average working hours range from 4 to 6 hours per day.
- Work Mode: 100% permanent, remote work-from-home position.
