Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Store Manager cum Optometrist to oversee daily store operations while delivering professional eye care services. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail store management, team leadership, sales achievement, and optometry practices. The role requires balancing operational excellence with exceptional customer service to drive store performance and customer satisfaction.
Key ResponsibilitiesStore Operations Management
- Manage end-to-end store operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
- Monitor daily sales performance and achieve monthly revenue targets.
- Maintain inventory levels, stock accuracy, and product availability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and operational standards.
- Handle store audits, reporting, cash management, and billing processes.
- Coordinate with regional teams for inventory replenishment and operational support.
Optometry Services
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.
- Recommend suitable lenses, frames, and vision correction solutions based on customer needs.
- Educate customers about lens options, eye care, and eyewear maintenance.
- Maintain accurate patient records and prescriptions.
- Ensure adherence to professional and ethical optometry standards.
Team Management
- Lead, motivate, and supervise store staff to achieve business objectives.
- Conduct staff training on customer service, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
- Manage employee schedules, attendance, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a positive and high-performance work environment.
Customer Experience & Sales
- Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a seamless shopping experience.
- Resolve customer queries and complaints effectively.
- Drive sales through product recommendations and customer engagement.
- Build long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Optometry.
- 2–4 years of experience in Optometry and Retail Store Operations.
- Experience in eyewear, optical retail, healthcare retail, or similar industries preferred.
- Strong understanding of store management and inventory control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and retail billing/POS systems.
