1. Splicing Team Coordination Allocate splicers based on customer requirements and geographical areas. Coordinate with splicing teams for timely completion of fiber splicing activities. Direct and monitor DB (Distribution Box) and port allocation. Ensure proper communication between field teams and technical departments.
2. Stock & Inventory Management Maintain inventory records of Optical Fiber Cables (OFC) and related materials. Monitor stock availability and arrange timely allocation of materials for projects. Track material consumption and maintain inventory reports.
3. Vehicle Management & Workforce Attendance Allocate vehicles to field teams based on operational requirements. Monitor vehicle utilization, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules. Maintain attendance records of helpers, splicers, and field staff. Coordinate with teams regarding overtime and workforce deployment.
4. OTDR Reports & Billing Coordination Maintain and circulate OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer) reports to concerned teams. Ensure proper documentation and filing of testing reports. Coordinate billing-related activities for cable pulling and field execution teams. Maintain records of vendor and contractor bills.
5. Google Plot Management Prepare and update Google plots/maps for OFC routes and customer locations. Circulate route maps and location details to OFC, Installation, and Maintenance teams. Ensure accurate mapping and route documentation.
6. Installation & Maintenance Coordination Coordinate with the Installation team after completion of splicing activities. Support ONM (Operations & Network Maintenance) activities for existing customers. Ensure seamless handover of completed work to relevant teams. Follow up on customer connectivity and service restoration requirements. Required Skills & Competencies Knowledge of OFC network operations and fiber deployment processes. Understanding of splicing, OTDR testing, and telecom infrastructure. Strong coordination and team management skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Maps, and reporting tools. Good communication and documentation skills. Ability to manage multiple field teams and operational activities simultaneously. Educational Qualification Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, IT, or related field. Experience 2.5–3 years of experience in OFC operations, telecom infrastructure, fiber deployment, or technical coordination roles
Pay: Up to ₹22,000.00 per month
