About Us
Essence Early Intervention & Development Centre is a multidisciplinary pediatric therapy center dedicated to supporting children with developmental delays, autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties, learning challenges, and other developmental needs. We provide Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Behaviour Therapy, Special Education, and Early Intervention services in a collaborative and child-centered environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Assess and provide physiotherapy intervention for children with developmental, neurological, orthopedic, and sensory-motor challenges.
- Develop individualized therapy goals and treatment plans.
- Conduct one-on-one and group therapy sessions.
- Work closely with Occupational Therapists, Behaviour Therapists, Special Educators, and parents to ensure holistic intervention.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and reports.
- Guide parents on home programs and carry-over strategies.
- Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and professional development activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy (BPT/MPT).
- Valid professional registration.
- Experience working with children is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team.
- Passion for working with children and families.
Preferred Qualifications (Bonus)
- Experience working in pediatric rehabilitation, early intervention, or special needs settings.
- Exposure to Occupational Therapy principles and sensory integration approaches.
- Experience collaborating with Occupational Therapists or providing functional skill-based interventions alongside physiotherapy.
- Knowledge of developmental milestones, motor planning, sensory processing, and pediatric assessment tools.
