Job Summary
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding dealer and distributor networks, handling project sales, and developing market presence for WPC and NFC products including door frames, doors, boards, mouldings, and related products within the assigned territory. The role includes channel expansion, dealer appointments, coordination with architects and contractors, and maintaining strong customer relationships to drive business growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for WPC, NFC, door frames, doors, boards, and allied products.
- Develop and execute sales plans for assigned territories.
- Identify new business opportunities in retail, project, and institutional segments.
- Increase market penetration and brand visibility in the assigned area.
Channel Expansion & Dealer Development
- Appoint new dealers, distributors, and channel partners in the territory.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing dealers and ensure business growth.
- Monitor dealer performance and provide necessary support for sales development.
- Ensure product availability and market coverage across the territory.
Project Sales & Institutional Business
- Generate business through builders, developers, institutions, and commercial projects.
- Coordinate with project teams for product approvals and specifications.
- Handle inquiries, quotations, negotiations, and order closures for projects.
- Follow up regularly on ongoing and upcoming projects.
Architect & Contractor Coordination
- Develop strong relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, and fabricators.
- Conduct product presentations and site visits.
- Promote company products for use in residential and commercial projects.
- Ensure regular interaction with key influencers in the market.
Market Operations
- Conduct regular market visits to identify new opportunities.
- Collect market intelligence regarding competitors, pricing, and customer trends.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and control outstanding dues.
- Coordinate with dispatch and operations teams for timely delivery of materials.
Reporting & MIS
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Maintain customer and dealer databases.
- Provide accurate sales forecasting and market feedback to management.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline; MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred.
- Minimum 3–7 years of experience in WPC, NFC, plywood, laminates, doors, boards, or building materials industry.
- Strong knowledge of dealer network development and project sales.
- Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned area.

Preferred Industry Background

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
