Key Responsibilities:
· Monitor dust collection systems and ensure ventilation pathways are clean to prevent dust accumulation.
· Enforce rules against spark-generating activities (e.g., grinding or welding) near bulk dust storage without a strict.
· Routinely inspect and test fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, smoke detectors, and fire extinguishers.
· Ensure all fire exits are clearly marked, unblocked, and well-lit.
· Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure electrical panels, motors, and bearings do not overheat or spark.
· Conduct regular, documented emergency and evacuation mock drills for all shift personnel.
· Establish a designated, safe assembly point and manage communication with local emergency fire services.
· Perform regular hazard identification and conduct formal Fire Risk Assessments to identify vulnerabilities in milling or storage zones.
· Ensure the plant complies with local fire codes and occupational safety regulations (e.g., OSHA standards) to obtain and renew safety certificates.
· Investigate minor fires, near-misses, and sparks to determine the root cause and implement corrective actions.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
