Job Description:
Shemford Futuristic School is looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Librarian to manage and maintain the school library and promote reading habits among students.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor's Degree in Library Science (B.Lib.) or Master's Degree in Library Science (M.Lib.)
- Prior experience as a Librarian in a school or educational institution will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of library management, cataloging, and record maintenance.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to guide students in selecting books and using library resources effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily library operations.
- Maintain and organize books, journals, and digital resources.
- Issue and receive books and maintain library records.
- Assist students and staff in locating and utilizing library resources.
- Ensure proper cataloging and inventory management of library materials.
- Promote reading programs and library activities.
