About Position:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Middleware Infrastructure Engineer to design, manage, and support large-scale middleware messaging platforms in a hybrid enterprise environment. This role requires deep hands-on expertise with middleware technologies, strong production support experience, and the ability to lead technical solutions that align business and technology objectives while ensuring platform reliability, security, and compliance.

What You'll Do:

Lead or participate in high-level technical solutioning spanning both business and technology domains.

Design, build, test, and support complex middleware infrastructure systems in enterprise environments.

Develop detailed technical specifications for middleware and messaging platforms.

Contribute to testing of business, application, and infrastructure requirements.

Drive solutions focused on reducing recovery time, increasing resilience, and improving platform stability.

Review and analyze cloud security solutions, including secrets management and key rotation strategies.
-
Design, code, test, debug, and document solutions using Agile development practices.

Plan and execute complex system upgrades, patches, and compliance initiatives.
-
Proactively identify and resolve performance or stability trends before they become issues.
-
Create long range remediation plans to prevent recurring incidents.

Direct daily risk and control operations, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and operational standards.

Collaborate with peers, leadership, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and achieve delivery goals.

Participate in outage calls, triage incidents, and restore services efficiently.
Expertise You'll Bring:

4+ years of experience in technology infrastructure engineering or solutions
-
Strong hands-on experience with middleware messaging technologies (IBM MQ, ACE/IIB, Kafka, Solace)
-
Proven production support experience in Linux and/or Mainframe environments
-
Expertise in MQ cluster configuration, object creation, and troubleshooting
-
Experience with MQ monitoring tools such as IR360
-
Hands-on experience with Kafka Connect, including source and sink connectors

Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and SSL certificate management
-
Experience using Ansible for automation and deployment activities

Solid understanding of Linux administration, shell commands, and basic networking concepts

Familiarity with load balancers such as F5 or AVI
-
Experience with incident management and monitoring tools (ServiceNow preferred)

Strong communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills
