Job Summary
The Chinese Chef (Commi 1) is responsible for preparing authentic Chinese dishes while maintaining high standards of taste, quality, hygiene, and presentation. The chef will ensure timely food preparation and support smooth kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook Chinese dishes according to standard recipes.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
- Prepare mise en place before service.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the Chinese kitchen section.
- Monitor stock levels and inform the Chef about ingredient requirements.
- Store food items properly and minimize food wastage.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and kitchen safety standards.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience as a Chinese Chef (Commi 1) in a hotel or restaurant.
- Good knowledge of Chinese cuisine, sauces, wok cooking, and food preparation.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
