Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to design, analyze, and oversee the structural integrity of our PEB, Factory Sheds, LGSF, and Infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for structural design, detailing, and coordination with execution teams to ensure safe, economical, and timely execution as per IS codes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Structural Design & Analysis: Perform structural design and analysis for PEB structures, Factory Sheds, Industrial Buildings, Warehouses, and LGSF structures using STAAD Pro, ETABS, Tekla, and other relevant software.
- PEB & Steel Structures: Design of steel structures - beams, columns, trusses, connections, base plates, and foundations. Knowledge of PEB components is mandatory.
- Drawing & Detailing: Prepare and review structural drawings, GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and connection details. Check and approve drawings from detailers.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with relevant Indian Standards (IS Codes), AISC, and MBMA standards. Apply load calculations - Dead Load, Live Load, Wind Load, Seismic Load.
- Estimation & Optimization: Work on material optimization, BOQ preparation, and cost-effective design solutions without compromising safety.
- Site Coordination: Coordinate with Project Coordinator, Site Engineers, and Fabrication Team for any design clarifications, site modifications, and provide technical support during execution.
- Quality & Safety: Ensure structural safety, quality standards, and provide solutions for any structural issues arising at site or factory.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Civil / Structural Engineering.
- 3-4 Years of mandatory experience as Structural Engineer, preferably in PEB / Steel Structure / LGSF / Industrial Shed industry.
- Must have strong proficiency in: STAAD Pro, ETABS, AutoCAD, Tekla Structures (basic knowledge), MS Excel.
- Strong knowledge of IS 800, IS 875, IS 1893, IS 456, SP 38 and other structural codes.Experience in connection design, foundation design, and PEB software (an added advantage).
- Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work from Head Office in Siliguri and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
