Required Surveyor at Paonta Sahib City
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct door-to-door field surveys to collect property details (residential, commercial, institutional, govt. buildings, etc.).
- Measure and record plot size, built-up area, number of floors, usage type, and structural details.
- Verify ownership details, occupancy (owner/tenant), and building usage.
- Identify whether the building is government, private, central/state govt. or municipal property.
- Capture GIS coordinates (latitude/longitude) and upload on property tax application/system.
- Take geotagged photographs of each property as per guidelines.
- Fill the Property Tax Survey Form accurately as per Property Tax Bye Laws 2023.
- Cross-check documents like Aadhar, Electricity Bill, Water Bill, Property Papers where applicable.
- Interact with property owners and explain tax-related queries.
- Ensure data entry and uploading on Property Tax Portal without errors.
- Coordinate with supervisors for validation and correction of survey data.
- Maintain daily survey records and submit progress reports.
Skills & Qualifications Required
- Minimum 12th pass / Graduate (preferably in Geography, GIS, Civil, or related fields).
- Basic knowledge of GIS-based mobile apps, GPS, and digital survey tools.
- Ability to read maps, site plans, and municipal records.
- Good communication skills for interacting with the public.
- Physically fit to carry out extensive fieldwork.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Additional Requirements
- Must carry a smartphone with good GPS accuracy.
- Willingness to travel within assigned wards/municipal areas.
- Ability to meet daily survey targets.
- Professional behavior and adherence to municipal survey guidelines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
