A staff nurse is a registered nurse who delivers direct, high-quality patient care in hospitals, clinics, or nursing homes. They assess patient needs, administer treatments and medications, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with physicians to execute care plans while providing emotional support to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Perform routine assessments, monitor vital signs, and assist patients with daily hygiene, feeding, and mobility needs.
- Medication & Treatment: Administer prescribed medications, start IVs, dress wounds, and assist physicians during medical procedures.
- Care Planning: Develop, implement, and adjust individualized nursing care plans alongside ward sisters or senior doctors.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate patient medical records, charting medications given, treatment progress, and any sudden changes in condition.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, post-discharge recovery steps, and prescribed treatment plans.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
