AJ Architects is a design practice based in Kerala & Dubai, founded by Ar. Abdul Jabbar in 2006. The firm has offices in Dubai, Calicut and Thalassery and focuses on architectural design, planning, and project execution.
Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and creative Architect to join our team at AJ Architects. The candidate will be involved in architectural design, preparation of drawings, 3D visualization, and coordination of projects from concept to execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop architectural concepts and design proposals based on project requirements.
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, working drawings, and construction drawings.
- Assist in preparing plans, elevations, sections, and other technical drawings.
- Develop 3D models and architectural visualizations.
- Coordinate with clients and project teams.
- Assist with site visits and monitor project progress when required.
- Ensure drawings and designs comply with relevant building regulations and project requirements.
- Revise drawings based on client and project team feedback.
- Assist in material selection, detailing, and design development.
- Maintain proper documentation and project records.
- Coordinate with the site team to ensure design intent is followed during execution.
Requirements
- B.Arch degree from a recognized institution.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Good knowledge of architectural design and construction detailing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
- Knowledge of SketchUp, 3D visualization, Revit, Lumion, V-Ray, Enscape, or similar software will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of building materials, construction methods, and architectural detailing.
- Strong design sense and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Willingness to travel for site visits when required.
