About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Officer (ASO) to lead and manage our sales operations in and around Pollachi. The candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing a team, and ensuring strong market coverage across assigned territories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle and supervise a team of 6 Sales Executives
- Plan and execute sales strategies to achieve targets
- Ensure effective distribution and availability of P&G products in the market
- Monitor team performance and provide guidance & motivation
- Maintain strong relationships with retailers and key customers
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
- Ensure coverage across the following areas:
Pollachi
Kinathukadavu
Udumalpettai
Valparai
Requirements:
- 5 years experience in FMCG sales (preferably with distribution handling)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work in field sales and handle targets
- Knowledge of the local market is an added advantage
