Job Summary
Fabrigami Fashion Academy is looking for a passionate and experienced Fashion Designer Faculty to join our team. We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of 1 year of teaching or industry experience who can provide both theoretical and practical training in fashion designing. The ideal candidate should be capable of guiding students from basic to advanced levels while inspiring creativity and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Teach Fashion Designing theory and practical sessions.
* Train students in garment construction, stitching techniques, and sewing machine operations.
* Teach pattern making, drafting, draping, and garment finishing.
* Guide students in fabric selection, textile knowledge, and fashion illustration.
* Conduct practical demonstrations and supervise student projects.
* Assist students in developing collections, portfolios, and fashion show garments.
* Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessments.
* Stay updated with current fashion trends, industry techniques, and design innovations.
* Maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment.
Requirements
* Minimum 1 year of experience in Fashion Designing, Fashion Education, or the Garment Industry.
* Strong knowledge of Fashion Designing theory and practical techniques.
* Excellent stitching and garment construction skills.
* Good understanding of pattern making, draping, measurements, and finishing techniques.
* Knowledge of fabrics, textiles, and garment production processes.
* Strong communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
* Diploma or Degree in Fashion Designing or a related field is preferred.
