Job Description :
O-RAN MAC Development Engineer to design, develop, and optimize 4G LTE MAC layer components for an O-RAN–based Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) system. The role involves adapting LTE MAC procedures to satellite-specific constraints while ensuring compliance with O-RAN and 3GPP standards.
- Strong experience in LTE (4G) MAC layer development
- Solid understanding of 3GPP LTE protocols:
- MAC, RLC, PHY interaction
- Proficient in C/C++ programming (real-time or embedded systems)
- Experience with scheduler design, HARQ processes, and RACH procedures
- Knowledge of O-RAN architecture and DU software stacks
- Familiarity with satellite / NTN concepts:
- Long RTT, Doppler shift, timing uncertainty
- Experience with Linux-based development and debugging tools
Pay: Up to ₹1,900,000.00 per year
