Position: Executive Chef – Hospital Food & Beverage Department
Location: Trivandrum
Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹60,000 per month (Based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and supervise daily kitchen operations.
Ensure preparation of hygienic, nutritious, and high-quality meals for patients, staff, and visitors.
Develop and standardize menus as per dietary and hospital requirements.
Monitor food quality, taste, portion control, and presentation.
Manage kitchen staff, duty rosters, training, and performance.
Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, and hygiene standards.
Control food cost, wastage, and inventory.
Coordinate with dieticians and hospital departments for patient meal services.
Monitor vendor supplies and kitchen equipment maintenance.
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or related field.
10+ years of experience as Executive Chef or Senior Kitchen Manager.
Experience in hospital, healthcare, hotel, or institutional catering preferred.
Strong knowledge of food safety, nutrition, and kitchen operations.
Leadership and team management skills.
Ability to handle large-volume food production.
