Job Description
Amalco Rail & Infra Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Store Manager to manage stores, inventory, material planning, material tracking, and billing coordination across multiple railway and infrastructure project sites.
This is a travelling position requiring regular visits to project locations across Kerala and Tamil Nadu. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining project stores, tracking material usage, assisting site teams with billing and measurements, ensuring proper inventory control, and maintaining accurate project-wise records.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage stores and inventory across multiple project locations.
* Travel regularly to project sites for store inspections and stock verification.
* Receive, inspect, record, store, and issue materials.
* Maintain accurate stock registers and inventory records.
* Track material movement between stores and project sites.
* Maintain project-wise material consumption records.
* Monitor where each material is used and maintain supporting records.
* Conduct physical stock verification and material reconciliation.
* Assist site engineers in preparing measurements and client billing documentation.
* Verify quantities of materials utilized for billing purposes.
* Support preparation of running bills, final bills, and material reconciliation statements.
* Coordinate with project engineers, supervisors, purchase team, and accounts department.
* Plan material requirements based on project progress and upcoming activities.
* Ensure timely procurement and availability of materials.
* Maintain GRNs, challans, invoices, issue vouchers, and other store documentation.
* Maintain records of tools, testing equipment, and project assets.
Preferred Experience
* Experience in Railway, Electrical, Signalling, Telecom, Infrastructure, Construction, or EPC Projects preferred.
* Knowledge of inventory management, material reconciliation, and billing support.
* Ability to coordinate with project execution teams and accounts department.
* Good knowledge of MS Excel.
Qualification
* Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
* Freshers with strong Excel skills and willingness to travel may also apply.
