We are looking for enthusiastic, target-driven, and student-focused Admission Counsellors to join our growing team in Chennai.
Job Summary
As an Admission Counsellor, you will be responsible for counselling prospective students, understanding their educational needs, and guiding them toward the most suitable online programs. You will manage the complete admission journey—from enquiry to enrollment—while delivering an exceptional student experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesStudent Counselling
- Contact prospective students through inbound and outbound calls.
- Understand students' academic background and career aspirations.
- Provide accurate information about online degree and certification programs.
- Recommend suitable courses based on individual requirements.
Lead Management
- Handle leads generated through digital marketing campaigns, website enquiries, and referrals.
- Conduct timely follow-ups through calls, WhatsApp, email, and SMS.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and maximize lead conversions.
Admissions & Sales
- Guide students through the admission and documentation process.
- Assist candidates with application submission and fee payment.
- Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets.
CRM & Documentation
- Update lead status and student information in the CRM system.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and follow-ups.
- Generate daily and weekly activity reports.
Customer Experience
- Build long-term relationships with students and parents.
- Resolve queries professionally and provide timely support.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth admission process.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication skills in English (Tamil and Hindi will be an added advantage)
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Sales-oriented mindset with excellent negotiation abilities
- Good listening and counselling skills
- Ability to work under targets and deadlines
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM software
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline
- Experience in EdTech, Education Sales, Inside Sales, Telecalling, or Customer Support is preferred
- Fresh graduates with strong communication and sales aptitude are encouraged to apply
