Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Operations Executive to manage customer enquiries and support the day-to-day processing of service requests. This is primarily a desk-based role at our JP Nagar office.
The candidate will interact with both walk-in customers visiting the office and customers contacting Sevantay through phone, WhatsApp, and online channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend to walk-in customers at the Sevantay office
- Speak with customers over phone and WhatsApp
- Respond to online customer enquiries
- Understand customer requirements and explain the appropriate Sevantay service
- Collect and verify required information and documents from customers
- Create and update customer requests in the Sevantay system
- Track the progress of ongoing requests
- Coordinate with field operations staff, vendors, and internal team members
- Follow up with customers when additional information or documents are required
- Keep customers updated about the status of their requests
- Maintain accurate digital and physical records
- Support general office and customer operations
Requirements
- Graduate or Diploma holder
- 0–3 years of experience
- Good communication and customer interaction skills
- Comfortable speaking with customers in person and over the phone
- Basic computer and smartphone skills
- Comfortable using WhatsApp, email, web applications, and Google Drive
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Willing to work Monday to Saturday for 8–9 hours per day
Language Requirements
- Kannada preferred
- English required
- Hindi is an advantage
Important Note
This is primarily a desk-based role. Regular travel within Bengaluru is not required.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in any of the following areas will be preferred:
- Customer support
- Front-office operations
- Back-office operations
- Documentation services
- Data entry
- Banking, insurance, travel, real estate, or similar customer-facing services
Freshers with good communication skills and a willingness to learn are also welcome to apply.
