JOB DESCRIPTION – Associated Manager / Manager, Organic Search & AI Discovery
Objectives
This role is responsible for improving client's visibility, authority, and discoverability across traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered discovery platforms. The role will support the development and execution of SEO, AEO, and generative search optimization strategies that grow qualified organic demand, strengthen brand authority, improve customer acquisition efficiency, and ensure our content is accurately represented where customers search, compare, and make decisions.
The role requires an outstanding stakeholder management and in-depth technical knowledge of SEO/GEO, digital analytics tools, page optimization, content optimization, onsite and offsite optimization, internal and external link building, keyword research and strategy. Strong knowledge of SEO/GEO tools is a pre-requisite, with deep hands-on experience with running SEO/GEO and Analytics tools. It entails significant complexity and scale in terms of designing, implementing, and optimizing customer interactions, working closely with the Web, Marketing, Analytics, IT, Products on improving SEO/GEO performance and organic visibility.
The SEO/GEO Lead will co-lead the vision and implementation of SEO/GEO strategy along with Head, SEO/GEO and other team members, working amongst a cross-functional team in ideating SEO/GEO initiatives, prioritizing & conducting rapid tests.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Track and improve client's citation presence, answer inclusion, and brand representation across AI-powered discovery platforms.
- Build and maintain priority prompt/query libraries by market, product, customer intent, and business priority.
- Analyze AI-generated answers to identify citation gaps, misinformation risks, competitor displacement, and content authority opportunities.
- Translate AI search insights into content briefs, page refresh recommendations, structured data requirements, and technical optimization actions.
- Partner with Content, Product, Brand, PR, Social, Web, Legal, Compliance, and agency teams to strengthen topical authority and improve AI discoverability.
- Develop reporting that connects AEO performance to commercial outcomes, including citation visibility, answer accuracy, share of voice, qualified organic traffic, conversion, and revenue contribution.

Qualifications & Skills Required
Must-have
- Experience in AEO, GEO, AI search visibility, or emerging search optimization.
- Understanding of how answer engines and LLM-based discovery platforms retrieve, summarize, cite, and represent brand content.
- 8-12 years of experience
- Ability to analyze prompts, AI-generated answers, citation patterns, competitor visibility, and content authority gaps.
- Strong understanding of structured data, entity optimization, topical authority, content quality, and trust signals.
- Ability to convert search and AI discovery insights into content briefs, technical requirements, and senior stakeholder updates.
- Experience operating in a regulated industry where content accuracy, compliance, and governance are critical.
Nice-to-have
- Experience in financial services, banking, wealth, cards, deposits, lending, or insurance search journeys.
- Experience with multilingual SEO/AEO across Asia or international markets.
- Familiarity with AI visibility tracking tools, prompt libraries, citation dashboards, or share-of-voice reporting.
- Exposure to PR, brand, social, or earned authority programmes that influence AI citation and answer inclusion.
