We are seeking a dedicated and organized Project Associate to join our program implementation team. In this role, you will provide critical support in the planning, execution, and monitoring of our community-driven initiatives. You will act as a bridge between field operations and management, ensuring that project milestones are met, data is accurately tracked, and stakeholder relationships are nurtured.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Coordination: Support the Project Manager in developing work plans, timelines, and resource schedules for ongoing initiatives.
- Field Monitoring: Conduct regular site visits to assess program quality and provide hands-on support to community organisers and volunteers.
- Data & Reporting: Collect qualitative and quantitative data from the field; maintain project databases and assist in drafting monthly progress reports for donors.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate communication between the NGO, local government bodies, and community leaders to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Administrative Support: Manage project documentation, track expenditures against budgets, and organize workshops or community events.
- Problem Solving: Identify operational risks or bottlenecks in the field and collaborate with the team to implement immediate solutions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Experience in the development sector or project management is an plus( not mandatory)
- Must have own Laptop
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi
- Willingness to travel to rural or semi-urban project sites up to 40% of the time
