Salary: ₹12,000 - ₹34,000 per month, based on experience and qualifications
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging drama/theatre lessons for students from Grade 1 to Grade 12 as per curriculum given.
- Teach acting techniques, voice modulation, stage presence, script reading, and improvisation
- Direct and produce school plays, annual day performances, and inter-school drama competitions
- Develop students' confidence, communication skills, and creative expression through theatre activities
- Collaborate with Music, Art, and English departments for interdisciplinary projects
- Manage drama club, conduct auditions, and mentor students for performances
- Organize theatre workshops .
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Theatre Arts, Performing Arts, Drama, or related field. http://B.Voc preferred
- Minimum 6 mths of theatre experience - stage acting, directing, or production work
- Fluent in English - excellent spoken and written communication skills required
- Prior teaching experience in a school setting preferred but not mandatory for strong theatre professionals
- Strong understanding of child psychology and classroom management
- Ability to work with students of different age groups and skill levels
- Creative, energetic, and passionate about drama in education
- Basic knowledge of light and sound for stage productions is a plus
