Job Summary
The PPC Manager is responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and controlling production activities to ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining optimum inventory levels, efficient utilization of resources, and compliance with quality standards. The role works closely with Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality, Maintenance, and Sales to achieve production targets and customer commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, weekly, and daily production plans based on customer orders and sales forecasts.
- Develop and monitor production schedules to ensure on-time order fulfillment.
- Coordinate with the Purchase department to ensure timely availability of raw materials and packaging materials.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods.
- Optimize machine utilization, manpower allocation, and production capacity.
- Track production progress and take corrective actions to minimize delays.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance to ensure production complies with quality standards.
- Analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and recommend process improvements.
- Work with Maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and improve plant efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and statutory requirements.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports on production performance, capacity utilization, inventory, and delivery status.
- Lead and guide the PPC team to achieve departmental objectives.
- Participate in production review meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA in Operations or Supply Chain Management is an added advantage.
Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in Production Planning & Control in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in plastics, packaging, extrusion, flexible packaging, or related manufacturing industries is preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar manufacturing ERP software.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
