· Operate conventional lathe machines to produce precision components.
· Perform turning, facing, threading, drilling, boring, taper turning, grooving, and parting operations.
· Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
· Set up workpieces, tools, chucks, and fixtures before machining.
· Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining parameters.
· Measure finished components using Vernier Callipers, Micrometres, Dial Gauges, and other precision instruments.
· Ensure products meet dimensional and quality requirements.
· Carry out routine machine cleaning, lubrication, and preventive maintenance.
· Report machine breakdowns or quality issues to the supervisor.
· Maintain production records and daily output.
