About the Role
Hogwarts Studios is looking for an experienced and technically strong Videographer who can independently handle professional video shoots, studio productions, podcasts, interviews, reels, brand content, and commercial projects.
The candidate should have a strong understanding of cameras, lighting, framing, composition, audio setup, and overall visual storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle professional video shoots for podcasts, interviews, social media content, advertisements, corporate videos, product shoots, and brand campaigns.
- Operate professional cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, gimbals, tripods, microphones, and other production equipment.
- Manage single-camera and multi-camera setups.
- Set up studio lighting according to the client's requirement and desired visual style.
- Ensure correct camera settings including frame rate, shutter speed, ISO, white balance, focus, exposure, and picture profiles.
- Maintain proper framing, composition, camera angles, and continuity throughout shoots.
- Coordinate with the creative, editing, marketing, and production teams before and during shoots.
- Ensure proper recording and monitoring of audio during shoots.
- Handle indoor studio shoots as well as outdoor/client-location shoots whenever required.
- Take responsibility for cameras, lenses, lighting, microphones, memory cards, batteries, and other production equipment.
- Ensure all footage is properly organised and transferred to the editing team after every shoot.
- Maintain production equipment and report any technical issues immediately.
- Assist in planning shot lists, camera placements, lighting setups, and production requirements.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional videography experience.
- Formal education, diploma, certification, or training from a recognised photography, filmmaking, cinematography, mass communication, or videography institute is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of professional mirrorless/DSLR cameras, preferably Sony camera systems.
- Excellent understanding of lighting, composition, framing, focus, exposure, and camera movement.
- Experience with podcast, interview, commercial, corporate, social media, and studio shoots will be preferred.
- Should be comfortable handling shoots independently.
- Basic understanding of video editing and post-production workflow will be an advantage.
- Must be punctual, disciplined, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
- Should have strong attention to detail and visual aesthetics.
- Must be comfortable working 6 days a week from our Gurgaon studio.

Compensation
₹25,000 – ₹32,000 per month, depending on experience, technical knowledge, portfolio, and performance during the interview/practical assessment.
Candidates should be prepared to share their portfolio/showreel or previous work samples during the application process.
