Key Responsibilities1. Machine Operation
- Operate Automatic/Semi-Automatic Flute Laminating Machines.
- Perform machine setup before production.
- Carry out job changeovers efficiently.
- Monitor paper feeding and corrugated board feeding.
- Maintain machine speed as per production requirements.
- Ensure continuous production with minimal downtime.
2. Production Management
- Achieve daily production targets.
- Monitor machine productivity and efficiency.
- Reduce machine idle time.
- Minimise production losses and wastage.
- Maintain production reports and shift records.
3. Quality Control
- Ensure bubble-free lamination.
- Maintain accurate sheet registration.
- Ensure proper glue bonding.
- Prevent sheet curling and warpage.
- Avoid print damage during lamination.
- Conduct regular quality inspections throughout production.
4. Material Handling
- Identify and handle different types of offset printed sheets.
- Understand various corrugated flute profiles (E, B, C, 3 Ply, 5 Ply).
- Monitor glue preparation and consumption.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of raw materials.
5. Machine Maintenance
- Perform daily machine cleaning.
- Clean rollers and glue units.
- Carry out routine preventive maintenance.
- Report and resolve minor machine issues.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team during major breakdowns.
6. Safety & Housekeeping
- Follow all machine safety procedures.
- Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain 5S standards.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
