- Perform incoming inspection of raw materials, bought-out parts, and sub-assemblies as per control plan and specifications.
- Ensure incoming materials meet drawing, specification, and customer requirements.
- Review supplier inspection reports, COA, and test certificates.
- Handle incoming material non-conformances and raise NCRs.
- Coordinate with suppliers for corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain incoming inspection records and ensure material traceability.
- Support PPAP and sample approval activities for new and changed parts.
- Coordinate with production, stores, and supplier quality teams for material release.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and customer-specific requirements.
- Support internal audits, customer audits, and quality reviews.
- Ensure 5S, safety, and housekeeping standards in incoming inspection area.
- Good knowledge of plastic injection molding process and defects.
- Strong understanding of automotive quality systems (IATF 16949).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments such as vernier caliper, micrometer, gauges.
- Basic knowledge of PPAP, Control Plan, and PFMEA.
- Experience working with automotive OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Experience working with Volkswagen (VW) OEM or VW Tier-1 suppliers is preferred.
Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical, Plastics, or related discipline.
