A Café Manager oversees the daily operations of a coffee shop, driving profitability and customer satisfaction. They are responsible for hiring and training staff, managing inventory and budgets, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesStaff Management: Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate baristas and support staff.Daily Operations: Manage opening and closing procedures, shift handovers, and facility maintenance.Customer Service: Address customer feedback, resolve complaints, and build a welcoming atmosphere.Inventory Control: Track stock levels, order supplies (beans, milk, syrups), and minimize waste.Financial Duties: Monitor budgets, process payroll, track sales targets, and handle cash handling procedures.Quality Control: Ensure coffee recipes and food offerings maintain high standards of taste and presentation.Health & Safety: Maintain strict cleanliness standards and adhere to food hygiene and safety regulations.Requirements & SkillsExperience: Proven experience in the food and beverage/hospitality sector, ideally with barista or supervisory experience.Leadership: Strong team-building and delegation skills.Technical: Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems and basic bookkeeping.Communication: Clear, customer-oriented communication skills.Physical: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for long periods.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
