Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the Cath Lab before procedures and ensure all equipment is functional.
- Assist cardiologists during coronary angiography, angioplasty, pacemaker implantation, and other cardiac interventions.
- Prepare patients for procedures and provide reassurance before and after the procedure.
- Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures and report any abnormalities immediately.
- Maintain sterile techniques and comply with infection control guidelines.
- Operate and maintain Cath Lab equipment and accessories.
- Assist in inventory management and ensure adequate stock of consumables.
- Document procedure details accurately and maintain patient records.
- Follow radiation safety protocols for patients and staff.
- Respond promptly during emergency cardiac procedures and Code Blue situations.
