Lead performance engineering initiatives for enterprise storage, cloud storage, and object storage products.
Design and execute performance, scalability, endurance, stress, and reliability tests for storage platforms.
Develop benchmarking strategies and performance validation methodologies using industry-standard tools and custom frameworks.
Analyze storage stack performance across hardware, firmware, operating systems, networking, and application layers.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve I/O bottlenecks affecting throughput, latency, and resource utilization.
Create automated test frameworks and performance analytics solutions using Python and Linux-based tools.
Evaluate storage protocols and technologies including NFS, SMB/CIFS, S3, iSCSI, NVMe, FC, and distributed storage architectures.
Execute cloud-based performance validation for storage services deployed on public and private cloud environments.
Collaborate with development, architecture, QA, and product management teams to define performance KPIs and acceptance criteria.
Conduct capacity planning, workload modeling, and scalability assessments for next-generation storage solutions.
Generate performance reports, executive summaries, and recommendations for design optimization.
Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices in performance testing and automation.
Support customer escalations involving performance issues and provide root cause analysis.
Continuously improve CI/CD-integrated performance testing pipelines and monitoring frameworks.
