As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of projects by coordinating efforts across teams and serving as the main liaison for all application-related activities. The position demands proactive problem-solving and continuous engagement with stakeholders to ensure that solutions align with business needs and technical requirements. The role also includes overseeing the implementation process and ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards while adapting to evolving project demands.

- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for software customization.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to enhance their technical skills.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing software solutions to optimize performance and user experience.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in BlueYonder Transportation Management.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with A&D Aftermarket.
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and best practices related to transportation management systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the BlueYonder Transportation Management environment.
- Experience in configuring and customizing transportation management applications to meet specific business requirements.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and tools to connect transportation management systems with other enterprise applications.

- This position is based at our Chennai office.
