Resource Requirement Summary ClearCase Administrator
Must Have
Minimum 5 years of handson experience in IBM ClearCase administration and architecture
Strong expertise in ClearCase installation configuration and server setup
Proven experience in
Server migration and domain migration activities
VOB Versioned Object Base migration
View migration dynamic snapshot views
Deep knowledge of ClearCase MultiSite architecture and replication
Strong troubleshooting capability in
Build issues
Replication issues
Performance and repositoryrelated problems
Handson experience in Batch scripting and PowerShell scripting for
VOB migration
View migration
Automation of administrative tasks
Ability to perform root cause analysis and handle critical production issues
Experience in defining migration approach risk mitigation and rollback strategies
Good to Have
Experience in designing scalable SCM architecture and infrastructure optimization
Exposure to replication topology design and conflict resolution strategies
Understanding of
Branching strategies and version control best practices
Build environment stabilization and release workflows
Experience in integrating ClearCase with CICD tools and DevOps pipelines
Handson experience with ClearCase on Windows andor Linux environments
Knowledge of SCM governance compliance and enterprise standards
Added Advantage
Experience working in large enterprise or distributed MultiSite environments
Exposure to migration from ClearCase to modern SCM tools GitSVN
Familiarity with infrastructure automation monitoring and performance tuning tools
Ability to define and implement SCM governance frameworks and best practices
Strong stakeholder management and technical leadership skills
Experience in auditcompliance environments QMS processdriven projects aligning well with your teams usual work areas
