Position Summary
Chef de Partie (CDP) is responsible for managing a specific kitchen section, ensuring high-quality food preparation, consistency, efficiency, and adherence to Brotein Bistro's standards. The CDP supervises junior kitchen staff and plays a key role in daily kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee a designated kitchen section (Grill, Continental, Pantry, Breakfast, etc.).
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to Brotein Bistro standards.
- Supervise, train, and mentor Commis Chefs.
- Ensure smooth service and timely execution of orders.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Control portioning, wastage, and stock usage.
- Assist in inventory management and stock requisition.
- Coordinate with the Sous Chef regarding menu changes and special requirements.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of all ingredients.
- Contribute ideas for menu innovation and recipe improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum 1–3 years of professional kitchen experience.
- At least 0.5–2 years in a similar CDP role.
- Strong knowledge of Continental, Café, Healthy Cuisine, and Breakfast Operations.
- Ability to manage a section independently.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of food costing and inventory control.
- Familiarity with food safety standards.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
