Job Overview
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer with 5–7 years of experience in designing retail, café, QSR, hospitality, or commercial interior projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of space planning, design development, material selection, construction detailing, and project coordination.
The role requires an individual who can independently manage projects, collaborate with clients and consultants, and deliver innovative, functional, and aesthetically appealing interior design solutions while ensuring timely project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative interior design concepts, layouts, and detailed design solutions for retail, hospitality, café, QSR, and commercial projects.
- Prepare space planning layouts, working drawings, furniture layouts, detail drawings, and construction documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare presentations, mood boards, material palettes, and design proposals for client approvals.
- Select and specify materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, lighting, and accessories based on project requirements.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and quantity estimations.
- Conduct site visits to monitor project execution, resolve design-related issues, and ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Ensure projects are delivered within timelines while maintaining design intent and execution quality.
- Identify opportunities to improve design workflows, project management processes, and overall operational efficiency.
- Stay updated with emerging interior design trends, sustainable materials, construction techniques, and AI-powered design tools.
Key Requirements
- Strong planning and design sensibilities with an excellent balance of functionality and aesthetics.
- Excellent client communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong command of spoken and written English.
- Ability to independently coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
- Practical knowledge of materials, furniture, fixtures, construction details, and interior execution.
- Self-driven professional capable of independently managing multiple projects.
- Proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented approach with strong attention to detail.
- Passion for innovation and continuous process improvement.
