The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, managing tax compliance, and ensuring the overall financial health of the organization. This role requires sharp attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and strict adherence to accounting principles and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain and update general ledgers, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR).
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Cash Flow Statements).
- Reconciliation: Conduct regular bank reconciliations and verify internal financial transactions.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist management in preparing annual budgets and monitoring cost variances.
