Job Summary
The Wedding Event Manager is responsible for generating leads, converting wedding inquiries into confirmed bookings, and managing client relationships from initial inquiry through event confirmation. The role focuses on understanding client requirements, presenting customized wedding packages, and achieving sales targets while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle wedding inquiries via calls, emails, walk-ins, and social media leads
- Conduct client meetings, venue tours, and presentations
- Understand client needs and propose customized wedding packages
- Prepare and share quotations, proposals, and contracts
- Negotiate pricing and close deals to meet monthly and annual sales targets
- Coordinate with internal teams (operations, décor, catering, vendors) for feasibility
- Maintain accurate CRM records, leads, follow-ups, and conversions
- Build long-term relationships with wedding planners, vendors, and partners
- Attend wedding expos, site visits, and promotional events
- Ensure smooth handover to operations team after booking confirmation
- Track market trends and competitor offerings
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
- 1–4 years of experience in wedding sales, event sales, or hospitality sales
- Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Well-groomed, confident, and customer-oriented personality
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools

- Existing network of wedding planners and vendors
