Technical Sales Engineer – Passive Firestop SolutionsPosition Title:Sales Executive – Passive Firestop Division
Department:Sales & Business Development
Reporting To:Managine Director
Job Purpose:To promote, market, and sell passive fire protection and firestopping products & services, develop new business opportunities, and maintain relationships with clients including builders, architects, contractors, consultants, and industries. The role involves both technical and commercial sales responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:Identify and develop new business opportunities for passive firestop systems in industrial, commercial, and infrastructure sectors.
Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and site visits to educate clients about firestop applications and compliance requirements.
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets through project-based and direct customer sales.
Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, architects, contractors, and facility management teams.
Prepare and submit technical proposals, quotations, and tenders in coordination with the estimation and design team.
Follow up on submitted offers and convert them into confirmed orders.
Stay updated on market trends, competitors’ products, and project pipelines.
Coordinate with the project execution and technical team to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities using CRM or reporting formats.
Participate in trade exhibitions, seminars, and awareness programs to promote company offerings.
Desired Candidate Profile:Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, or Fire & Safety Engineering (preferred).
Experience: 1–4 years of experience in sales of construction materials, MEP, HVAC, or fire safety systems.
Skills Required:
Strong technical understanding and communication skills.
Knowledge of firestop systems, UL/FM tested products, or similar safety products is an advantage.
Good networking and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently and meet targets.
Proficiency in MS Office and report preparation.
Location: As per project/region requirement.

Achievement of monthly/quarterly sales targets.
Number of new client accounts developed.
Conversion ratio of inquiries to orders.
Customer satisfaction and repeat business rate.
Timely reporting and coordination with internal teams.
