NewLaVie, a US based Company looking for a versatile IT and Web Design Engineer to oversee our company's internal technology infrastructure while driving our digital web presence. In this dual-focus role, you will maintain secure, reliable network systems and provide technical support, while simultaneously designing intuitive user interfaces and coding responsive web pages. The ideal candidate blends systems administration expertise with a sharp eye for visual design and modern web development practices. You will be part of our satellite office team in Srinagar or Delhi.
Key Responsibilities
Web Architecture:
Design, code, and deploy responsive, user-friendly websites using modern front-end frameworks and content management systems.
UI/UX Engineering:
Create wireframes, user flows, and visual prototypes to optimize website navigation, accessibility, and user engagement.
IT Infrastructure:
Configure, monitor, and maintain local network hardware, servers, cloud storage, and corporate communication tools.
Systems Security:
Implement robust firewalls, manage user access controls, schedule data backups, and respond to cybersecurity threats.
Technical Support:
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues for internal staff both on-site and remotely.
Performance Tuning:
Optimize web server configurations, database queries, and frontend code to maximize site speed and uptime.
SEO & Analytics:
Integrate search engine optimization best practices and tracking scripts to monitor web traffic and performance metrics.
Documentation:

Required Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Design, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Front-End Development:
Advanced proficiency in HTML5, WordPress, CSS3, JavaScript, and popular libraries or frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Bootstrap).
Design Tools:
Hands-on experience with UI/UX prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Photoshop.
Systems Administration:
Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems, TCP/IP networking, DNS management, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
CMS Expertise:
Experience customizing and securing platforms like WordPress, Drupal, or headless CMS architectures.
Database Management: Familiarity with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL for web application support.
Soft Skills:
Excellent analytical troubleshooting abilities, clear communication, and the capacity to balance independent design work with urgent IT support tasks.
