Whale TV is headquartered in Singapore and has teams collaborating across the globe to make TV better for everyone.As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced executive to lead our ad sales efforts in the emerging markets of MENA, Asia, Africa and Australia to grow our ad revenue by helping advertisers and demand partners reach consumers as they engage with their Whale TVs.
Whale TV is growing fast and we’re looking for talented Smart TV App Engineers / Smart TV App Specialists to join our team. If you’re passionate about building high-quality Smart TV experiences and want to work with global partners across content, platform, and technology, we’d love to hear from you.
What you´ll do:

Develop front-end pages and shared UI components for next-gen Smart TV solutions.

Analyze Smart TV app issues and provide technical support to content service providers.

Work closely with content partners to ensure smooth integration and certification of premium apps.

Maintain our development support knowledge base and collaborate with internal and external teams.

Continuously optimize app performance, UI/UX, and overall development efficiency.
We’re looking for someone with a hands-on, supportive mindset who thrives in teamwork, takes ownership of their tasks with a strong customer focus, and stays curious with a drive for independent development. You should also bring the following technical qualifications:

1–2+ years of web development experience (more is always welcome)

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.

Strong communication skills; fluent English is mandatory.

Solid development skills in:
- HTML5, XML, XHTML, CSS3
-
JavaScript
-
Server-side scripting (PHP, ASP,or similar)

Linux/Windows server environments

Databases: MySQL, MS SQL Server

Familiarity with one or more front-end frameworks:

jQuery, Bootstrap, Angular,Backbone, Lightning JS

Comfortable using front-enddebugging tools.
