Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Guidance: Engage with patients to provide expert guidance on various vision correction procedures and ophthalmic treatments.
- Surgical Coordination: Develop a deep understanding of various eye surgeries (such as Cataract, LASIK, or Glaucoma procedures) to clearly explain the process, benefits, and risks to patients.
- Patient Support: Act as the primary point of contact to answer medical queries, explain post-operative care instructions, and build patient trust.
- Operational Excellence: Manage appointment scheduling and maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with surgeons and healthcare providers to ensure a seamless patient experience and high levels of satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in patient counseling, clear communication, and the ability to address patient concerns empathetically and build the patients trust.
- Basic understanding of ophthalmology and eye-related care, or a willingness to learn quickly.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, including appointment scheduling and documentation management.
- Teamwork, collaboration, and coordination skills to work effectively within a healthcare setting.
- Preferably, a background in customer service, eye-care, or a related field.
- Familiarity with local languages and cultural sensitivity is a significant advantage.
- A diploma or degree in a relevant field like healthcare, counseling, or social work is preferred.
- Graduation is a must.
