A hotel Travel Trade Sales Manager drives B2B room revenue by managing relationships with travel agents, tour operators, DMCs, and OTAs
They negotiate contracted rates, source new accounts, and organize familiarization (FAM) trips. This role targets the leisure and group travel segments.
Core Responsibilities
- Account Management: Nurture and expand relationships with key travel trade partners, wholesalers, and OTAs.
- Contracting & Negotiation: Establish and negotiate seasonal contracted rates, group bookings, and series rates.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new B2B business opportunities through market research, cold calls, and trade show attendance.
- Property Showcases: Organize and host hotel site inspections and FAM trips for tour operators to increase product knowledge and bookings.
- Revenue Strategy: Collaborate with the Director of Sales and Revenue Manager to set pricing strategies and achieve monthly/annual revenue targets.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Typically requires 2-5 years in hospitality B2B sales or travel trade management.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration, or Marketing.
- Key Skills: Strong travel trade network, excellent negotiation abilities, relationship-building, and a revenue-driven sales approach.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
